For this short project, I was tasked to create a digital interpretation of a physical interface. The translation was an interpretation physical interface to help you accomplish the same goal and the same task. I decided to use a record player for my object and created an app for my interpretation.
Sketches
I started with some quick sketches to outline the digital interactions for the record player app. I then went through usability audits to test the interactions and overall user experience of the app.
Final Prototype
This record player app proposes a way to scan vinyl records, allowing the user to have fine control over the physical device through digital means.
